HEYSEN 105, 2025

13KM to 161KM: SAT 25th & SUN 26th OCTOBER 2025

The Heysen Trail is an iconic marvel run along a variety of trails from the Flinders Ranges to Cape Jervis, 1200 kilometres in length. The ever changing trails under foot along the Heysen 105 take in some of the best countryside along the Fluerieu Peninsula. Paddocks, country roads, pine forests, beaches the infamous Yultie and Myponga hilly single tracks.

Around every turn will be some ever changing scenery and certainly some wildlife, farmers and a plethora of styles for your tired and weary legs to climb over. But it’s mostly glamorous!

The iconic Heysen 105 is steeped in history going back to 2011, and today is one of the biggest Ultra Marathons in the State. It is an ultra unlike any other in SA and also unlike any other in the Ultra Series stable. The countryside is unique, dairys frequent and moo cows in abundance!

Today, Heysen 105 is an iconic stable trail event on the Australian calendar and proudly a part of the SA Five 50.

And now, Heysen is bigger than ever, with the added Deep Creek 50k on the Sunday, throwing in a mix of multi-day event options from a 50 Miler (28k Sat & 50+k of Deep Creek on Sun) or the 100k (50k Myponga 50k & Deep Creek 50k Sun) or even bigger with the 100 Miler (115k Sat & 50k Sun).

And of course there are the traditional Saturday events options of 13km, 28km, 42km, 50km, 70km or 115km, meaning Heysen has all sorts of choices for you to quench your desire to conquer the trails!
